What to send
Horse hair items
I will need 20-40 strands of mane or tail hair. You can collect this hair from the bridle path or close to the dock of tail. There is no need to “pull” the hair out- a quick snip with some sharp scissors is fine. There is no need to wash your horse beforehand- I wash all sample hair. All unused hair is returned to you- please be mindful not to send too much hair as this may increase postage costs… I have had entire tails sent to me in the past!
Ashes/Cremation/Commemorative/Memorial Items
I will need one teaspoon of ashes sent to me in a tiny grip seal bag. Please do not worry- everything is returned to you. All ashes items will incur a postage fee of £6.70 for tracked next day delivery due to the highly sentimental nature of the sample.
Baby hair.
Ideally the hair will need to be 3cm or longer. If you ask your hair dresser to keep on of baby’s “curls” they will usually wrap a curl for you in tin foil which will easily fit in an envelope. I will return all unused hair so please send me what you have as I need a decent ringlet!
Pet hair
Ideally the hair will need to be 3cm long and from the roughest part of the dog. Such as between the shoulder blades or the base of the tail. If your pet has two colours please wrap each colour separately in tin foil. Please be careful to keep the sample flat. Multiple orders must have names on each separate Hair/Ash sample linking to the item you have ordered.
